Solution Description:

We propose a constellation of kW class eye-safe, space-to-ground lasers to beam photovoltaic power to the individual warfighter after the sun goes down. A few watts of power for radios, GPS, night vision goggles and other equipment overnight will save money spent on battery procurement & logistics, reduce the battery load carried by the individual operator - and could mean the difference between life and death in combat.
